Extremely late, I know, but for those who haven't heard, Sega plans to release a new 2D Sonic title (in HD apparently) to appeal to Genesis fans and attempt to bring Sonic back to his roots. The project is currently under the name "Project Needlemouse" and has a single trailer out.
And I know I haven't updated in a long-ass time. Once Christmas gets nearer, I'll try my best to fix as many glitches on the site as possible, get all the information restored, etc. It's just difficult doing this by myself with at least a thousand other problems getting in my way. So for all, probably, two people that actually come here frequently. Thank you, I really appreciate that.
We're back... again. I was intending to only be gone for about a day or two... but I couldn't find my USB flash drive that contains all the site's info. >_> - The forums are still busted due to some rather vexing circumstances, primarily being unable to properly install the MySQL database and being unable to find the database backups. Other than that, we should be pretty much ready to begin business. I'm going to try to be able to squeeze in a bunch of updates in whatever time is leftoever in the summer.
Imagine waking up early after a long, well-deserved nap to find your forum completely flooded with spam advertising some very bad stuff, to suffice for lack of a better euphemism. That's exactly what happened here today.
I wish to apologize to every guest who may have been viewing the forum at the time if they were exposed to the disturbing images and messages in this spam. I've taken off the user and deleted all of its posts. I will take extra measures to ensure that such occurrences do not happen again. That means, actually being faithful to my wor when I said I'd lock the forum everyday at 1 AM EST, earlier if I decide to go to bed before then.
If anyone sees any more objectionable content on the forum, please report it to me immediately.
Again, I apologize for anyone exposed to this disturbance.
So, as you all probably know, Sonic & The Black Knight has been out for the past few weeks now and, well, I'll let you guys decide on rather or not it can be truly classified as a good game, rather as a Sonic game or not. Either way, I'm going to create a game page for it very soon. So tune back in for that.

Speaking of message boards, you members have failed to do your job and keep these forums active. It's no wonder the only new members for the past three months have been nothing but spambots. If you want more people to join, guys, then you have to post yourselves as well. I understand you all have busy lives and I respect that. I'd be a hypocrite not to, but god. Thanks for your love and support! But enough of that. I'm just being a whiney n00b now. Lawl. Anyway, I would really appreciate it if you guys would actually try to keep the bulletin board ACTIVE. I know the skin is ugly, since I'm still using the hideous phpBB default, but come on. Maybe I'll work on a new skin for it if you guys help keep it active. I can't do it by myself, guys! So hop to it! (I probably just completely ruined my online reputation and have probably discouraged everyone who looks at this page from joining the boards; lawl) I'd appreciate it!
